Fundraising Made Easy & Fun!

Hiester Lanes has many great Fundraising ideas and events for lots of groups. Many local school groups have raised money to help their sports teams, music departments and much more. Bowling is a great fundraiser for churches, charities and other organizations too!

Here is how it works.

You pay $30/lane until 5pm or $50/lane from 5pm to close (up to 6 people per lane) and any additional amount you wish to charge goes directly back to your organization!

Each lane rental comes with 2 hours of UNLIMITED bowling and rental shoes.

An attractive and relatively easy way to raise needed cash is a bowling fund raiser. One of the advantages of this approach to fund raising is that you do not need a lot of money to start out with to hold the fund raiser. Smaller organizations that do not have an operating budget to draw from for overhead costs may see this as a very big advantage.

Another advantage is the fact that because this fund raiser is a service, rather than goods-oriented, there is no leftover product at the end of the fund raiser. A third, no less important factor is the fact that at the end of the event, there is no clean-up to be done, as there might be with other types of fund raisers. Finally, there is the weather factor: it is not likely your event will be rained out, unlike a walk-a-thon or car wash.

Bowling Fundraisers are a fun and enjoyable event for people of all ages and a great way to raise money for your charities or organizations.

10 Steps to a Successful Fundraiser!

  • Plan Your Event: Our most successful events have at least a 6-8 weeks lead time as not to conflict with other activities already scheduled.
  • Form a Committee of Volunteers: Don’t do it alone. Recruit people to assist you as the more help you can get the more successful the fundraiser
  • Tell Your Story: Tell everyone about your cause. Tell them why you are raising money.
  • Spread the Word: Distribute flyers to your friends/family/contacts. Post it on all social media avenues.
  • Ask for Donations: Basket raffles and silent auctions are a great way to raise additional monies. Also do a bake sale as people will donate items for this.
  • Sell Lane Sponsorships: Ask supporters and local businesses to sponsor a lane with a recognition sign at the lane with their company listed on it.
  • Pre-Sell Tickets to the Event: We will assist on making up tickets for your event. Also with pre-sell you’ll have the money up front and have a better feel on the size our your event.
  • Alert the Media About Your Event: Send them a press release to publish in the local newspapers, TV, radio stations and community web sites.
  • Arrive a Little Early on the Day of the Event: Get here about an hour before your event starts to get set-up.
  • Have FUN! Your guest will be there helping you raise money while having fun!!
